1. #TBT Philly X Profile - GashouseRadio.com

In honor of "Throwback Thursday" we look back to where it all started for UnsungPhilly.com.

In 2010, The Philadelphia Experience, or The Philly X, website was created. Philly X's goal was to profile the great things going on in and around Philadelphia that people may not know about. Sadly, this website fell apart (cue dramatic music) but from the ashes rose UnsungPhilly.com.

Out of all bad things comes something good. GashouseRadio is the good that came out of demise of Philly X. Four years later, I am happy call Dustin and Jim my friends and to be still involved with GashouseRadio.com.

This interview is with the original Tuesday night "Flagship Show" crew which was Gashouse's first live show and speaking as a fan - It was amazing.

If you want more, tune into GashouseRadio.com!

  2. #TBT Philly X Profile - Artist Scott Derby

For our production friends - All the production of Philly X profiles was simplified to about two cases. It was a single person crew, FlipHD and FlipSD cameras, tripod, and a stick mic.

Our first Philly X profile was on long time friend and amazing artist Scott Derby!

Follow Scott on Twitter @NakedDerby or check out his site at scottderby.blogspot.com/

  3. Dave Pitone of Wooden Hez

Our friends at GashouseRadio.com turned us on to the band Wooden Hez. The moment we heard them - we loved them. Then we heard a little of lead singer and founder, Dave Pitone, and we were really intrigued.

Both Dave and his music are truly unique, honest, and exceptional.

Please enjoy our story on Dave Pitone and his band Wooden Hez and if you would like more information or upcoming band events, check out WoodenHez.com

  4. Rob Paine and Willyum of Worship Recordings

I am thankful for friends that support and understand what we are trying to do with UnsungPhilly. It was one of these good friends that walked up to me one day and said, "Hey man, you should meet my boys Rob and Will." Jay proceeded to tell me about DJ's Rob Paine and Willyum, Worship Recordings, and their monthly house music event in Philly called "Shakedown". Knowing my good friend Jay as I do - I knew I had to meet his boys.

So as I sit and write this, I am proud to present MY boys! Two of Philadelphia's finest DJ's Rob Paine and Willyum of Worship Recordings.

    Give Thanks!

  5. Michael & Joan Cooke

I knew Mike Cooke in high school... we graduated together. Mike was smart and very funny and I don't really know a person that didn't like him... and in high school that is a pretty amazing feat.

At first, I thought this story would be all about Mike, the soldier, the Operation Desert Storm veteran, but as things progressed I realized that this was not just about a soldier but the mother that continues to care for and worry about her son.

    Meet Michael and Joan Cooke.

  6. Dustin Dellinger & Jim Haas of GashouseRadio.com

A while ago, I heard about GashouseRadio.com from a friend. My buddy told me about this free internet radio station that had a great live show and independent music. Upon listening and eventually meeting the GHR business partners Dustin and Jim - I was amazed at their passion and dedication to GashouseRadio, the music, staff, and the internet community that surrounds them.

Please enjoy Dustin Dellinger and Jim Haas of GashouseRadio.com!
